About Toni Qattan

Toni Qattan  (Arabic: طوني قطان)  is a Jordanian singer, songwriter, producer, and composer of Palestinian origin, widely recognized for his warm, distinctive voice and independent artistic vision. Born on August 11, 1985, in Jerusalem, to a family originally from Beit Jala, he developed a deep connection to music from an early age. He mastered the oud, guitar, and piano, later expanding into songwriting, composition, and music production, shaping a sound that blends authenticity with contemporary expression.

Early Career and Breakthrough (2005–2010)

Toni launched his professional music career in 2005, during the peak of the traditional music industry dominated by television, radio, CDs, and cassette tapes. His early releases, including “Men Dounek” and “Eyouni Sehrani,” were recorded and promoted through conventional media channels and filmed in Lebanon. These works gained widespread popularity across the Arab world through television and radio at a time when digital platforms were still in their early stages.

Digital Transformation and Independent Production

With the rapid shift of the music industry toward digital platforms, Toni adapted early and strategically, becoming one of the first Jordanian artists to independently produce, release, and promote his own music and videos online. Songs such as “Yalli Betiheb Elnana,” “Rohi w Rohek,” “Serti Halali,” and “Tal El Amar” achieved millions of views and streams on YouTube and major streaming platforms. This approach established him as a pioneer of self-production and digital music distribution in the Arab world, bridging the gap between the traditional and digital eras of Arab music.
